Sunward is a Chinese designer and manufacturer of construction machinery equipment specializing in excavators, cranes, aerial work platforms (AWP), and foundation equipment.
Founded in 1999, the company quickly conquered the global market, Sunward boasts a turnover of $1 billion, 5,000 employees, 200 models, and a presence in over 100 countries.

The European subsidiary is established in Belgium since 2015, with a stable and solid European management team since 2020. The turnover grew from 30 to 115 million €, which is steadily increasing.
With an appreciated strong culture of innovation, quality, service and adaptability and as a challenger,
we are focused on the technical and operational needs of our customers to establish strong partnership. That means we are owner of our European headquarter (Tessenderlo, Belgium) with its own spare parts depot, its sales, marketing and after-sales teams, financial solutions, training and technical support, presence through local distributors.
Our organization is structured into three divisions, based on product ranges.

The European AWP division was created 18 months ago.
It includes Mobile Access Equipment (MAE) and Material Handling Equipment (Telehandlers).
We have grown from 7 to 14 models and our range will soon cover 90% of the market's needs, with both diesel and electric models, offering innovative and practical solutions for a wide range of applications and usage conditions: moving people and equipment, both indoors and outdoors and handling varying weights and heights.
Our clients are essentially rental companies (Key accounts) and dealers.
To support our continued growth, we are creating a new position and recruiting our:


Votre mission

AWP Key Account Manager
Main European markets + UK, rental companies
Aerial work platforms + Telehandlers



Your vision, mission and operational responsibilities:

- You personally assume to be the developer of our AWP activity in UK and European main markets (Germany, France, Benelux) through the acquisition and growth of strategic key accounts, primarily rental companies, while coordinating internally and, when required, with Country Managers and local dealers.
- You design with us a business plan after a global and precise overview of the market.
- You are the key player in the entire relationship with prospects and clients: identification, approach, engagement, persuasion, support, loyalty, and satisfaction.
- You implement national and multi-country sales programs.
- Within approved limits, you manage pricing and commercial conditions.
- You manage relationships with dealers when required, particularly for after-sales coordination and local customer support.
- You cooperate with the marketing team.
- You participate in specialized industry events and major international trade shows.
- You closely work with internal departments (Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing)
- You maintain accurate CRM.
- You are a valuable source of feedback and suggestions, enabling us to always perform at the highest level together.


Ideally, this position will be based at our headquarters in Tessenderlo, but you will be required to travel extensively throughout Europe, so we could accept another geographic position.

Vous

Your experience, motivations and qualities :
- Fluent English, + French or German and other language is a plus
- Business or Engineering school
- European sales environment exposure.
- Strong knowledge of construction machinery, particularly MAE and Telehandlers.
- Solid practice with Rental Companies.
- Ability to create and deliver a sales development plan.
- Strong analytical skills and use sales data.
- Ease to travel
- Cooperative, team spirit, direct communication, quality and long term relationship.
